I had waited so long to be able to replace my old set of pots and pans with new one's. My husband found this set and ordered them for me for Christmas....I am SO disappointed not at all the nice heavy duty faberware I had dreamed of. They burn easily, already the handles are loose and just very un-happy with this whole set....I wish I wouldn't have thrown out my old set, they were better than these..!!!!!

very nice set,seems very well made. I like the deep lip on the lids. Helps keep things from boiling over. Would be nice to have glass tops but I'm very happy with the set,for the price.

Many of us know the name Farberware from either our parents or grandparents. While the original products made by Farberware, are built to last through the next century, the newest additions to their line of cookware seem to be more geared to people looking for an all-in-one set. By no means am I saying this is a bad product, in fact I think that this set will last a good 10-15 years. But like most people, I believe the biggest downfall is the amount of material used in makeing the pots and pans. Today's set is not as thick as pervioius sets. Basically what this means is that instead of lasting for 50-60 years, that is not an exageration, you will probably buy something newer within 10 years. But lets face in 10 years you would probably buy something new anyways.
Otherwise this set is perfect for most people. The handles wont heat up and burn you, the pots themselves will last longer then you would expect, very nice mirror finish, and when you get them on sale it becomes and unbelievable vaule.
