"Great Bowls" 2010-09-02
By Lauren (Puerto Rico)
I just got my first apartment and I wanted to get bowls that I can use for different things such as cooking or putting popcorn in. I can also put it in the refridgerator and they come in great sizes. The metal isnt flimsy and look like they are going to last for a long time.

"broke in dishwasher!" 2010-07-27

The bowls seemed great for cooking, but when we put one in the dishwasher it CRACKED in half. So much for sturdy. Suggest you look elsewhere.

"Good Mixing Bowl Set For the Price" 2010-05-22
By SwooshGuy (So-Cal)
The bowls are decent for the price. They're not the best quality but they serve it's purpose. The picture is a good representation of the bowls, unpolished matte steel on the outside and a polished shiny steel band on top and on the inside. The only draw back of the polished steel is that it may leave water spots which can be visible (disclosure - the water in my home is somewhat hard so this may not be applicable to those with softer water). The two smaller bowls are good for mixing or holding small quantities of food. Visually, it is a big jump in size from the two smaller ones (1 and 1.5 quart) to the 3 quart bowls due to the steep/vertical sides of the bowls. The vertical sides may be a problem for some in terms of mixing but it also prevents things from spilling over so I guess it depends on your perspective. As mentioned in another review, the bowls, when stacked leave a smaller footprint inside your cabinets which in my opinion is a plus. Overall, I'm satisfied with the bowl set.

"Quality Set" 2010-02-24

Looks like a heavy duty set. I did not use the bowls because I returned them. I gave it as a a gift for my wife and she actually had a similar set that I did not know about at the time.

"Not Great, Not Horrible" 2010-02-16

Good for some things, not so great for others. The steep sides make mixing and folding a little difficult but take up a minimum of cabinet space. Useful for general utility work such as holding chopped veggies but certainly not ideal for universal applications.
