Amazon.com Review
There's something clean and pure about cookware that's stainless steel inside and out. This stylishly finished version from KitchenAid's Gourmet Essentials series features a brightly polished interior that discourages food from sticking, and a handsomely brushed exterior with a shiny band along the rim. Each pan is entirely constructed of premium 18/10 stainless steel, except for the encapsulated aluminum disk in the base (aluminum makes a superior conductor of heat), and the silicone grip encasing the handle. Even the tight-fitting lids are stainless steel. Each piece is oven-safe to 400 degrees F and is dishwasher-safe.
Whether you want to fry up pancakes for breakfast, warm soup for lunch, or feed chili to a crowd, this set more than accommodates your most typical cooking needs. The 1-, 2-, and 3-quart saucepans all come with lids, as does the large 8-quart stockpot. The 8- and 10-inch French skillets are nice and deep, great for poaching eggs or stir-frying veggies. Stainless steel cooks most efficiently at medium heat, and can be used to start a dish on the stovetop and finish it in the oven. An excellent value, the set is covered by a lifetime limited warranty against defects. --Ann Bieri

I love my new cookware. I have an electric cooktop and needed flat bottomed cookware. These items all heat quickly and evenly. They've been easy for me to clean, too.

"Great Set of Pots!" 2010-05-27
By EVEY (Honolulu, Hawaii, USA)
I received this set of pots on time and was happy with the prompt delivery.I really like the look and feel of these pots. They are brushed Stainless Steel, which I have not cooked with before. They are a sturdy make. Two things attract me to this pot. Firstly the base of the pots are sturdy and from reading the technology that went into them, they would be able to distribute the heat very evening on various cooking surfaces. The second thing is the handle. It is a gel based handle that gives easy grip and also insulates the heat. It feel ergonomically designed but it does not state that on the box. the pots are slightly heavy so this is a good addition that alleviates the stress of lifting the pots. I have yet to put them to the test of my rigorous cooking regime so I will update this post when I do.Other than that, I would recommend this pot for others to purchase, for sure!

the best present i've ever gotten. they look sharp and heat much more evenly than non-stick pans. i've had no problems with food sticking, and have found eggs are less likely to stick to these pans than any of my previouse teflon pans. clean-up is easy and the sizes are just right for my needs. i will use this set forever.

"I Love This Set of Pots and Pans" 2010-05-12
By David F. Scrivens
I received these about a week ago and was more then impressed by how nice they are and the perfect weight. They are solid and not like the cheap stuff you find in the box stores. I have a lot of Kitchen Aid things and never had a problem with any of them. I tried cooking my eggs for the first time this morning in them and as some of the other reviewers suggested I cooked on medium heat and the eggs cooked up perfectly and then just wiped the pan out with a wet paper towel until I can wash it later and it wiped clean as new and just as clean as any non stick I ever had. When I got this set I threw out all of my non stick as I was sick of seeing the non stick surface peel off and knowing I was eating it along with the food. All I can say is this set is beautiful and the price can not be beat here on Amazon. Even much cheaper then on the shopping shows on TV and here there is no sales tax and the shipping is free. How can you beat that. You will not, I repeat, you will not be disappointed in this set and wonder how you lived so long without it. I also purchased as pot and pan rack to hang this set from along with my utensils I use for cooking and it all looks so great.

"Solid cookware & induction capable" 2010-04-11
By Biker Chick (Sunnyvale, CA United States)
I wanted to echo the rave reviews on Amazon of this cookware. SS is easy to clean and the cookware is solid. I just got an induction range and it works well with it. I love to even fry a simple egg. It doesn't stick very much at all. Just sprayed a little Pam on it and I have to say this fry pan was better than my All Clad that I bought years ago. I'm not an expert or anything, but I loved how the egg didn't stick as much as my AC frypan did. I'm sure there's little intricacies of why I should be paying $40 for a single 8" fry pan, but I couldn't tell the difference so I'm happy to be ignorant and cheap. Best of all I got this set on Amazon on a special Friday night sale and total was $114! No tax, no shipping charges. Hooray for the free market! Now if I could only find more of these pans open stock.
